The Philadelphia Suburban Music Collective

Our Mission

The Philadelphia Suburban Music Collective is a confederation of singers, instrumentalists, conductors and composers, dedicated to bringing high quality classical music-based experiences to audiences, while seeking to make the art more accessible to new audiences.

We believe that one way to make the "classical concert" format more attractive to larger audiences is to present varied programs from high quality area musicians in a variety of performance configurations. Rather than offering simply another piano concert or a choral concert or recital, we envision PSMC presentations to be comprised of quality music from a variety of classical music-based disciplines. Each individual program will have it’s own structure, based on available musicians, repertoire, and performing situation.
